Once WinAntivirus 2008 infects a system, it sends a notification via popup balloon, various fake warning alerts and false scanning report. It prompts the user to purchase a registered version of the software in order to remove the reported threats.
Win Antivirus 2008 launches automatically after every reboot and then scans the user’s computer. Scan leads to a nag screen which prompts the user to purchase the full version.
