Thats only as a last ditch effort. I've come across many virus's in the past that actually add themselve to that hidden partition drive that you use to reinstall windows to factory default. For all you others out there wondering how to get rid of most of the virus's you have, use ctrl alt del to end the process then clean all temps even in teh windows and local settings folders. From there if that doesn't work boot into safemode and find where the virus lives (probably program files folder or your temp internet files folder) and manually delete it there. Goodluck!
